I spent a few quiet days deep in the forests of Maine, camping in my roof top tent and exploring the North Maine Woods with my new off-road truck. The goal was simple: spend time in the wilderness, test the truck and roof top tent, and photograph the landscapes and wildlife along the way. The first morning brought a beautiful sunrise over Penobscot Lake (map). The following morning, American red squirrels appeared around my campsite at Hurricane Pond (map), giving me the chance to photograph these curious little visitors. I made a no-talking video documenting these few days of camping, photography, and solitude in the Maine wilderness: just the sounds of nature, photography, and a little music.
